Install smaller window to bathroom in a bungalow

Moving house which has small bathroom and separate wc, want to put smaller window into the bathroom so can install shower cubicle and another wc. This means half bricking up the original window to make the opening small to accomodate a new smaller window. Can this be done with out planning or building regs, would much appriciate any advice.

your local builder will be able to advise but provided the house is not listed i think you should be ok....
