Install drainage channel

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.32 PM

Is it possible for a tradesman to install a drainage channel into an existing patio made from tiles, for example using an angle grinder? I have a patio where I would like to install a drainage channel running away from the house without having to lift up the recently laid slabs. Thanks in advance for answers. Tom

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You can install an Aco drain. These come in 1 metre sections that clip together. http://www.waterirrigation.co.uk/aco-hexdrain-with-black-plastic-grating-1m.html

You can cut the flags and install aco drain making sure you have an existing drain to attach into I've there isn't a drain to attach into a larger excavation may be needed including sonar tracing to locate nearest drain
