Hello, We would like to paint the pipes of our radiator, they are quite prominent in the front room and think that a vibrant colour would really make a nice statement. Do we need anything special to paint or can we just buy some red paint from B&Q?

Hi Marty. If the pipes are plastic then you need to be very careful. Only use water based paint which is ok but definitely not oil or solvent based paints. Otherwise use what you like.
