what material to use for replacing garage roof?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.20 PM

Hi, I have an external detached pitched single garage with old asbestos sheets supported by a metal frame. It has started to crack/leak in several places. Looking to have it replace but not sure what material should I use. I saw my neighbor has replaces with concrete corrugated sheets. Friends said fibre glass, some builder said timber/felt? Any advise on which one, pros/cons please? Many thanks

We @ D&D JOINERY & CONSTRUCTION LTD would highly recommend a marley eternit modern profile 3 fibre cement board it is the modern version of the old asbestos corrugated sheets and comes with a 30 yr garentee. And are sldI very economical I.e very warm and watertight We could remove the asbestos sheets and replace with the new and a full garentee and certified asbestos removal would be assured to be the best option
