How big should the gap be at the top of an external wooden door?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.39 PM

I have a gap at the top of my front door where the door has been shaved too far down the one side. The gap at the door is not straight and one side is double the size of the other

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

External doors would require 3-4 mm max around top and both sides.
