Negative head pump problem

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.02 PM

I have a negative head pump feeding the shower and handbasin in the loft conversion. It has worked well for years but now does not stop running even when both the shower and wash basin Taps are off! Any ideas? We can only stop it running by switching the power off at the unit.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

it sounds like the flow switch in the pump has stuck on, keeping the pump running. it may be a serviceable/replaceable part or you may be in line for a whole new pump unfortunately.
