Flueless Gas Fire
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.02 PM
I have been looking at Flueless Gas fires to be installed, can a Flueless gas fire be installed on a chimney breast, that we are blocking up. I know I could have installed a conventional gas fire but this involves chimney lining.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes it can. But the builders opening MUST be blocked up correctly, if in doubt seek professional advise from the person mentioned below!
Also there are other certain requirement's that need to be met before the flue-less fire is installed. Recommend you invite your local gas safe engineer to attend and advise, make sure when you ask him to attend that they are familiar with the safe installation of this appliance as not all gas engineers are!
