Kitchen tap soaking worktops and floor to get hot water flowing.
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.39 PM
Every time we wash up, our worktops and surrounding area gets soaked as we need to turn our taps high to kick start the boiler to give us the hot water. How can I adjust it, so that the boiler kicks in earlier at a lower flow?

Sounds to me like the water is coming out of the tap in a way similar to holding your finger over a garden Hose to make the water stronger. A more focused flow, I would change the spout outlet or alternatively change the tap. Alternatively you could turn the flow down on the service valve so your not getting soaked but obviously would be slower to fill. I would recommend one of the first two options. Hope this helps 😊
