What type of pliers to tighten plastic piping under kitchen sink that keeps coming apart. Thanks

You should not need to use any kind of Pliers or Wrench on undersink plastic pipework. Hand Tight should be sufficient. Can you undo the joint / s that is / are leaking and check that the rubber ring inside the nut is not twisted or distorted ?
