Roof tile not in line with mortar in gable end
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.19 PM
Recently had my one woodern gable end replaced and repointed. The tiles stick out about another 3 inches more in the centre than the asbestolux equivalent and mortar this gradually reduces and finishing flush at the eves. Please can I have a second opinion as looking at my gable end and comparing it to my neighbors it looks odd? The roofer assures me this is fine.

The verge tiles should be in one continuous line. There could be a problem with the tiling of the roof or the brickwork on the gable end .
