water underground floorboards

my dad has water under his floorboards and some outside underground we want a builer or someone who can fix the problem he has a water pump already but the water seems to be returning loads havent a clue how to fix this problem can anyone who knows or can reccomend someone who does

Hi, Water under the floorboards is not necessarily a major issue. It's only really an issue if it's causing problems. You really need to determine where the water is originating from, has it occurred recently? Has it always been there? Is it from a natural spring? If it is recent and you think it might be from a water leak, then try to determine where the leak has originated from. If it's natural water, then has it been diverted recently (is there any new building work in the near vicinity? It might be worth contacting your water board as they are ultimately responsible for all surface water. Hope this helps. Cheers
