I am boxing in a consumer unit in a downstairs toilet, are their any regulations that I should be aware of. I am planning on using fire retardant mdf. the job is basically replacing existing panels and a door. thanks you...

I'm hoping that your "boxing in" won't make the CU inaccessible?

No there are no regulations to go to.

All it requires is that the cabinet is constructed out of non combustible materials if it is not a non combustible consumer unit.
