Best underlay for underfloor heating mats?

Hello We are due to install underfloor heating mats in our kitchen/living area and are looking for opinions on the best underlay to use? The tiles for the area are ceramic and do not need underlay themselves. We have heard Wedi or Contract underlay could work but expert opinions are appreciated! Thanks!

Hi,
The best underlying for electric underfloor heating system is insulated tile backer board starting from 6mm.
The boards are cost effective, easy to work with and come in different sizes.
