Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.02 PM

Hi we've just had the gable wall in our house revrendered but as its dried hair line cracks have formed in the wall. Is this ok or should we be getting the guy who did it out to fix it? a if we do what should he be doing? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

There normally settlement cracks if there quite big then something is wrong but as your saying there hair line cracks I would suggest thinned down coat of masonry paint over it first let it dry and use exterior masonry filler fill it up with that sand down when dry and paint with the masonry paint. Hope this is some help for you. M.B.E decorators.
