Is my double glazing faulty?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.02 PM

I have water globules on the inside black strip of my double glassed windows , ( between the 2 inner sides of the double glazed window of my new flat. Why is this please?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Is the water globules inside the glass unit?? If so it means the sealed unit has failed and needs replacing. It will eventually fog up and won't be able to see through it. If it's on the black rubber ( the seal on the bead) then it's just condensation.

If you have any sign of water inside the units it means they are faulty and need to be replaced. Neal
