cracked door on washing machine
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.38 PM
I have a crack running through two thirds of my washing machine door. It has been in it for around twelve months and there is no leakage. The unit is around ten years old with no other apparent faults. What sealant, if any would be suitable to use on it and what would I need to consider?

Hi,
Do you mean you have a crack in the glass of your washing machine doors?
Best option is to get a replacement door. You can also use specialistic products like Bondo Bondo Glass Reinforced Filler, Loctite Windshield Repair Kit or just go to a local glazer and ask for a special resin that they use to fill and bond cracks in glass.
