What kind of wood should I use for my floor?

I am putting hardwood floor into my upstairs bedrooms and my downstairs kitchen and sunroom. What kind of wood flooring is best?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

you would be best advised to go with a LVT rather than wood for a sunroom and kitchen (wood and direct sunlight/moisture don't mix well) also if you have animals you would be better looking more towards laminate flooring which doesn't mark and scratch like a real wood does.
