Plumbing

Pipework routing for Shower Pumo

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.19 PM

Hi, just wondering if there is a reason why I cant route 22mm pipe from the pump feed of a warwick flange straight up into the loft, across 2m and down into a cupboard where the pump is sitting? Pump is level on floor with Hot Water Cylinder and the hot and cold feed come out the pump straight up and through wall into the Mixer. Cold feed to pump is dedicated cold from CWS in loft above cupboard. I ask as its a lot easier to put the pipework up in the loft than rip up floorboards to route to pump that way! I just don't know if i will induce any kind of negative head or risk air in the hot supply to pump by going straight up, across then down rather than down, across (under floorboards) into pump? Many thanks!

put the pump as close to cylinder as possible, as per manufacturers instructions. then run your pipework. Seeeeemples!
