Tiles in corners?

Hi, In response to your question, there are two corners to consider, internal and external corners. When tiling an internal corner with metro tiles some considerations have to be considered : Internal Corner 1. cuts have to be with in 2ml to the corner 2. As the method of tiling is Half bond (brick effect) it visually will look better if the return wall has the off cut tile adjacent to the wall you have just tiled. 3. Metro tiles have a slight decline on the edge so tile trims are preferred. External corners 1. With an external corner, you will always have to use a tile trim 2. The tile trim will have to be 2ml bigger than the metro tile because when the tile is cut it will be bigger ( I always use 8ml trim) 3. Again it is preferred that the off cut is returned for a better visual look 4. Ensure your joints are in line 5. Your tiles need to sit perfectly flush against the tile trim 6. 2ml spacer to be used The external corner is the more challenging corner, however, by taking your time in ensuring your tiles are cut correctly and fit perfectly against your trims, you can have a perfectly installed corner in your kitchen.
