Central Heating

Electrical central heating

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.31 PM

Hello all, I have just bough a 1 bed flat with no central heating, electric immersion heater in water tank and old electrical heaters on the wall. It is better for to have the gas fitted or is better to have a modern electrical central heating?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, Fitting electric heaters in flats is normal practice. When a building exceeds a certain amount of dwellings (I think it is 3) then gas appliances are not permitted therefore all appliances that may normally be gas will be electric instead. If you are thinking about replacing the heaters there are some really good ones on the market these days and it is well worth looking on the internet and speaking to an electrician about some options. Rointe are very stylish heaters. Go to www.rointe.co.uk
