3 showers, 22 radiators, 4 bedrooms - which central heating system?
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.38 PM
Hello, We are replacing our current system and want to fit an additional shower bringing us to 3 showers. We currently have a boiler with a hot water tank but want to move towards either a high powered combi boiler or a megaflo type system? Does anyone have any recommendations of what we should go for and what products we should have fitted? Looking for sound advice with the hope of awarding job to best knowledge based answer. Many thanks.

Well stay away from a combination boiler.
Fit a Worcester System boiler and a 300 litre unvented cylinder.. Think of a couple thermal solar panels also to help with the hot water..
Will all the showers be running of the system or electric?

Hi, I would highly recommend you go for a megaflow system setup with a reasonable sized system boiler as even a high end combi wouldnt be able to provide you with good performance in the event that more than one hot outlet was being used. Another option could be a Combi with a thermal store but I still think it would lack performance.
