Plastering & Rendering

Dot and Dab patches

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.37 PM

Recently had a new kitchen fitted, and completely re plastered beforehand. In one section of back wall i'm getting quite noitceable patched showing through the paint, esp when we are cooking and it's warm in the room. No way can we contemplate getting it redone, so i;m seeking suggestions as to how to best cover them up?

I think the wall may have been painted way to early before the plaster had a good chance to go off. You could try using a oil base paint and repaint the whole lot, it's a lot easier to maintain a vinyl silk in kitchens then it is a Matt paint!

The adhesive dabs will be colder than the hollow parts of boards so air borne moisture will condensate on these patches, best thing is to improve extraction.
