wetroom to quadrant shower enclosure

Hi I currently have a wetroom in place at my property and would like to install a quadrant shower enclosure. Can the enclosure be fixed directly to the floor or does it need the shower tray to be installed as well?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The enclosure would only be fixed to the walls but you could have it just resting on the floor rather than a shower tray. The problem you would have is most enclosures dont allow much in terms of play for levelling so depending on the gradient of the fall to the waste in the wet room, you may be using a whole lot of sealant on the floor!!

Full enclosure would only be fixed at walls and sealed on outside min 100mm up from floor on wall profiles and fully across floor profile. internally fully up wall profiles NOT to floor profile.
