Back boiler replacement

Our back boiler has finally died and we would like to replace. My kitchen was recently fitted and I don't have room in there for a boiler. Are back boilers still available ? If not and I need to go for a combi boiler can this be sited in a loft beside a cold water tank and above the hot water cylinder ?

Back boilers are still available but there will be extra pipework needed. I would side with your second option and have a combination boiler in your loft. If you have a combination boiler both tanks will become redundant.
