Leak upstairs under french doors, wall is damp.Water also showing downstairs on ceiling Please help?

We had a bungalow turned into a house 3 years ago and we have a leak. There are a set of french doors upstairs and the corners of the wall are damp. water is also leaking into the ceiling downstairs but unsure what to look for. We also have a flat roof beyond the french doors so I am unsure if this could be the problem. I have been calling the building who did the developments since the the beginning of December and have not had much luck. The problems is there is mould creating on the inside of the walls and circular water marks on the ceiling downstairs. The damp gets worse with heavy rain but I don't know what to do when you spend a lot of money with a building they can't be bothered to return your calls. Look forward to hearing from anyone. Thanks

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Sounds like an in-adequate job, a leak coming through that much will eventually set in wet rot, this unfortunately will deteriorate the internal structure of your property, not to mention the added dangers of electrics etc. I personally would keep the house warm and have it investigated asap, potentially you could contact trading standards and claim compensation for negligence through the courts. In the mean time I would have it fixed or at least temporarily fixed to evade serious remedial work having to be undertaken. Best wishes,
