Wall tiles in the bathroom aren't straight

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.31 PM

Hi, we recently got a friend to refit our bathroom & ensuite, as my friend doesn't do tiling, we agreed to get one of his colleagues in to complete that task. He's finished the tiling, however, in the corners of the bathroom the tiles aren't level with each other. As in, one tile will be 5mm further left than the one below it. He's saying he did this so the where the two full tiles meet are in line with the shower. Anyway, I wasn't very happy, and we agreed to take some money off the bill as I didn't really want him coming back. Without taking all the tiles off again, how can i hide the corners? We have chrome trim around the boxing and in other places, I was hoping to find something like this to go in the corners, but haven't found anything. Any ideas on what I can do? Thanks in advance.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The tradesmen should of used a level. The only thing I can suggest is run a bead of silicone down the internals to hide the grout lines.

in this case, posting a photo would assist with more helpful suggestions being forwarded. Is it possible to do that on this platform? On saying that, A. G. Fright Tiling Specialist's suggestion sounds solid.
