Plastering & Rendering

A painter painted 4 walls, emulsion on previous emulsion but most cracked so he put up lining paper. A few edges are not sticking and wonder if getting walls replastered or skimmed is best option?

Tried filling in the few areas and sanding and re painted but the paper has lifted again,

As long as your old plaster is stuck to your brickwork i think skimming would give you a lot better finish to your walls and will last a lot longer then lining paper Hope this helps Mark
