Hello Fabiano, The BS7671 Wiring Regulations states - 'Electrical equipment shall be arranged so as to afford as may be necessary accessibility for operation, inspection, testing, fault detection, maintenance and repair' - this means that the consumer unit should be accessible at all times and have space to work on for maintenance or repair if needed. Depending on the space available would it be possible to easily access the board to remove the cover and work on or would the machines stop you getting into the cupboard if so it would not be advisable as in an emergency you would be unable to disable or re-enable the trip.
