Switch for Electric Oven goes OFF and oven & ignition for gas hob doesn't work

We have an integrated Electric oven and Gas hob. The electric oven and the ignition for the Gas Hob suddenly stopped working. When I press the Red Switch to turn the oven on, it either lights up and goes off within a second, or doesn't light up at all. I'm guessing this could be something to do with a fuse somewhere? Could this be something simple that I could sort myself?

This sounds like a loose wire or faulty switch. I would not try yourself if you have no experience or confidence with electrics. Could you not ask a friend or relative that has experience with electrics? Failing this call in a registered electrician.
