Sorry to be the differing voice but if they have young they will get back in regardless. Humane trap and forty mile drive the way !!! They will and have eaten through fascia many times to re enter. Regards Rob

Hi Meera, The squirrels need to be scared out of the loft in the daylight hours, then stop up the gaps they use to get in! I had a few squirrels in my loft after leaving a few block-work holes in my new build. So, I woke up early one morning, banged the ceilings around a bit, scared the blighters out, then filled up the holes so they couldn't get back in. Job done. When you say "gaps in the guttering", I presume you mean "gaps in behind the guttering", i.e. getting in holes in the fascias or soffits? Hope that helps, many thanks, Jason.
