How much disruption is caused by changing the boiler (baxi - combi)?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.01 PM

We've just bought a house and are thinking of replacing the baxi boiler (12 years old) with a new combi boiler. We also want to upgrade the kitchen and bathroom at some point as well as decorate the property. Should we do the boiler first? How much disruption is caused by changing the boiler?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Is the baxi a combi or a system boiler. A combi to combi should not be that difficult however if you are modifying a system y plan or s plan to combi there may well be disruption

If its combi to combi there be near to NO distruption. I'd recommend to do the boiler before upgrading the kitchen, ideally closer to the days when old kitchen is ready to be taken out.
