recently had a new circuit installed in my potterton boiler. since then I don't get hot water only warm. enough for a shower if left on a few hours but not enough for a full bath. chap that repaired boiler says this sometimes happens and that I need a new cylinder. the present one is 13/14 years old. he said something about scale in the bottom of cylinder?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Would not of thought scale build up in 15 years would cause this amount of problem. I would say air lock potentially leaving only half the system full of water or restricted or a problem with the thermostat not reading correctly.
