Mixer showers with separate hot and cold water bath taps

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.01 PM

Hello, We are having a complete bathroom refurbishment. We have a gravity fed system. We want to take baths and showers and we want to keep two separate hot and cold water bath taps. Is it possible to install a bath with two separate hot and cold water taps with a completely separate mixer shower at the same end, such as the one in the link below (as opposed to having a bath / shower mixer)? If it is possible, what is your opinion on this particular shower please and do you have any other recommendations for high flow showers? http://www.mirashowers.co.uk/onlinecatalog/detail.htm?productNumber=Mira%20Agile%20Sense%20ERD%20Plus&section=Mixer%20showers&resultPageKey=1761170441-0&category= Thank you in advance for your help.

you can fit a bar shower blender above your bath and retain the bath taps. the question is if your gravity fed supply has enough of a head of pressure to flow through the shower enough. if not, and often a gravity fed hot supply doesnt, you would need to fit a salamander type shower pump to feed your shower.
