Is it normal to have water on floor after wall has been plastered due to damp?

Is it normal to have water on floor soon after wall has been plastered due to damp? We had 2 walls replastered due to rising damp however I am now concerned since seeing water on floor at edge of plastered wall (on certain areas, not all around)? The plasterer said this is normal when plaster is drying up however I am not entirely convinced since we had wet floors when walls were damp previous to works being carried out. Is this normal? If so, how long should I expect to have a wet or damp floor?

There should be no reason for water to be on you're floor when walls have been plastered ,any water that is in the wall will evaporate into the air due to the chemicals in the plaster ,if there is water on you're floor it would possbly be due to a pipe leaking water or possibly if it is an outside wall which I suspect it is as you have had a damp course done there may be a problem with you're guttering which could be leaking water down the inside of the wall .I would give another plasterer a call to give you a second opinion .

water on the floor means that your damp issues have not been corrected. I have not seen water on the floor due to plaster drying up. must be another reason for this. VBG.
