Waste seal + flexible stainless steel sink leak

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.01 PM

EDIT: I found the solution myself. It was a nut accessible from the top. Please delete. Hi There, We have a flexible stainless steel kitchen sink. When it is full the sink distorts and the seal connecting the waste to the sink is ineffective. I assume something just needs tightening on it but I'm not sure how the lower waste is meant to be held up tight against the sink. Anyone willing to give me a pointer? https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9DDCP3_JlVJWlc1SjRiR0pDd2ExMXZuNDJjQWtBUE9vS01J

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, first of all it looks like lose so you will need to take this waste of clean it and put it back again plus you will need to use some extra seals clear silicone or plumbers mate etc.
