Installing a bathroom extractor fan

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.18 PM

What size holesaw should I use for an extractor fan? The fan is 98mm but the nearest hole saws I can find are 110mm or 91mm. I'm sure the extractor fan cover will hide the excess gap from the 110 but I don't know whether this would be too big? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You need a 110mm " hole saw" that's the size of diamond cutter I use for a 100mm fan, I assume that is the size fan you are putting in? as you need a bit of clearance to put the ducting in between fan and grill outside.
