Gable end in need of re-rendering with waterproof and vibration capable render

Gable end on three story house, single skin built in 1880. Existing render lets water through to inside. The house stands on a busy road and is subject to some vibration. What are the possible remedies to solve this problem?

The old render needs knocking off, then use K Rend, it's silicone based and waterproof and flexible....

on a house that age, remove the old render and re render with a N,H,L, render, if you then want it painted use a lime wash three coats. anything else will be a waste of your money.
