Best company to provide kitchen units?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.00 PM
I know this has been asked before, but I could do with a more up-to-date answer. We have received quotes for our new kitchen from Howdens and Wickes. Howdens has come in a lot more pricey although I prefer the look. Which companies offer the best kitchen units (i.e. quality, standing the test of time, appearance in real life)? Can Howdens be haggled down? Thanks.

Hi
I think that the age old statement of " you get what you pay for" is very apt . Howdens are the more expensive option but in our experience they are of a greater quality and don't seem to deteriorate as quickly as other kitchen units. This is of course only our opinion and we have fitted wickes kitchens in the past and had no trouble with them.
The only issue some customers have with howdens is that it is trade only so you need to go through your fitter to purchase your kitchen. If this is your preference then your fitter may be able to negotiate a better price on your behalf.
Hope this helps

I recommend Howdens or Wren personally, but then I do install them!
