Slower Bath Water Fill in new bath in refitted bathroom
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.36 PM
Hi, I had a pump fitted with new pipes to a shower, twin impeller, which is fine. However, the water supply to the new bath and basin (separate pipes) is quite slow, (not practical to use that way for the bath but can probably live with the basin). It is gravity fed, but the old bath and basin before refit were prefectly fine. The new bath has flexible hoses to connect to the tap from the 3/4" pipe. Could it be the flexible hoses ? There is a new mixer bath fill tap, is it possible the tap needs higher pressure to operate ? And if it does, can the existing pump be attached to the bath/basin run (has to be both or neither) ? (not sure that a twin impeller is ok for bath & basin) (mind, I don't like the idea of a pump feeding the basin anyway, its more about making the bath flow better...) Any suggestions would be great. Cheers, Chris
