Gas smell when we use the oven

Hi Every time we use our oven (we have a classic hotpoint gas cooker) we smell gas. Never when I use the normal fire cooker. Should I call national grid? Thanks for your kind advice in advance. Yours Vince

Yes!!!!!! Better safe then sorry. Gas is not to be taken lightly.
