Worcester 28si II won't turn on at all!

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.18 PM

Hello, my central heating and hot water were all working fine this morning. I have a Worcester 28si II. At about 10am I went to put the heating back on as it was off due to the timer. I noticed that the timer was two hours slow and in fact the boiler was not working at all. Having checked that the pressure was correct and that the power and gas supply were also working I read up on possible causes in the instruction book. I found that the fused spur switch was not working and have since replaced it with a working one. I've also replaced the two fuses on the boiler circuit board with new fuses. I have also checked that electricity is reaching the circuit board. The boiler will not turn on at all so I still have no heating or hot water. I have run out of ideas as to what the problem could be. The circuit board was replaced 18 months ago by a gas engineer so I wouldn't have thought it would be that. There are no lights coming on the boiler, no noises absolutely no sign of life at all... Really confused. I would appreciate any advice before the engineer comes tomorrow afternoon. Thanks
