Low water pressure on hot taps and shower?

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.53 PM

We first noticed the low pressure in our shower. The pressure seems to be OK for the first few secs then the pressure drops off. We have a mega flo boiler with expansion vessel. My husband has repressurised it but it hasn't made any difference. The red pressure bar is pointing at 1.8 on the pressure gauge. There does not seem to be a rush of water when opening the filling loop value. Any ideas what could be causing the low water pressure?

hi pressure on gauge wont go over 1.8 because this is the maximum pressure you got .you cant feel water passing any more because you reached the highest pressure, and you are mixing up betweem megaflo and boiler.check your actual shower may have problem. this will apply if your installation is not new . thanks
