Need to paint new pine skirting white

What is the order for this job. Do I sand first then paint or do I use undercoat first then sand then paint with eggshell after. Also how many quote should I go for ? Thanks in Advance.

Good rub down with 120 grade sandpaper then use a good undercoat primer gentle rub down then oil based undercoat than another gentle rub down then final coat.if the skirts are in an area were grease is about wash down first with sugar soap

Hi, 1, sandpaper 2, clean the dust with cloth 3, undercoat 4, look for small holes and circle it with pencil 5, fill the holes 6, sandpaper filled area after few hours 8, eggshell paint first coat 9, egg shell final coat after few hours Job complete

You will also need to use a knotting solution on the wood where there are any knots before painting.
