where is the water main inside a detached house

normaly the incomeing main would be close to the first sevice which is normally the kitchen sink!however being a detached property you may have a cellar and it may be down there. for sure it will be on the ground floor,or cellar.haveing said that i have on a rare occation had to turn the main off outside to work on the services as there was not one installed!you are rite to want to know where it may be as it is avital part of the property!hope this helps tom clydebank plumbing&heating

they also fit stop cock set in skirting board they would be 2 clips holding the skirting on hope that helps.
