Plumbing

Best value boiler in terms of Warranty, Durability and Part Costs/Availability

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.35 PM

Hi everyone, I am a developer and have been installing the Vaillant EcoTech Plus as I am able to get an 8 year guarantee (5 + 3) when installed by a Vaillant authorised installed. They are not the cheapest boilers and so far there have been no issues so don't know if the parts are expensive/long lead time. I have been told about the Ideal Logic with 7 year guarantee which is a lot cheaper to buy. Does anyone recommend this? Are parts reasonably priced? On the whole - what do plumbers recommend? I am not adverse to paying more as long as the product warrants it. One of my main questions is which brand is reasonable in terms of parts/lead times and which are not.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

i would recommend worcester boilers i know they are a little more expensive standard 5 years but if you use their system filter you get an extra year and the same if you use there timers that will give you another extra year also the customer service is the best out there and if there is a problem with boiler they are normally out the next day to repair

Ideal Vogue(10 years) and Logic+(7 Years) are both very good boilers, I try and push these to most customers, I have fitted about 30 this year and not gone back to any.
