Damp appeared on carpet by French doors

So I get home from work today and notice that I have water marks on my carpet near our French doors. We've had a lot of rain and strong winds recently, so has this highlighted some flaws in some damp proofing somewhere? Help! Here's a pic: http://postimg.org/image/6htbgtxdh/

The water marks on your carpet could be condensation that has run down off the glass. Philip Woodrow Lewis
