I have a slight leak with the hot water tap in my bath, they are bath shower mixer taps, can this be fixed or will new taps have to be purchased?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.32 PM

the taps are the same as on the following link:- http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8320311/Trail/searchtext%3EBATH+SHOWER+MIXER+TAPS.htm

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Assuming taps are ceramic cartridge type (1/4 turn) then probably only needs a replacement cartridge; if taps uses washers then replace washer and grinding in valve seat. Could be a simple build of scale if in a hard water area which is a common cause of dripping taps.
