Kitchen Fitting

Kitchen showing signs of movement

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.17 PM

We had work done on our house a few years ago in the kitchen/dining area. The original kitchen units and cooker were taken out to lay the underfloor heating (crawl space under the floor) and add the extension. They were then put back with a thinner Earthstone worktop (couple of mm difference) and the problem was solved by heightening the units. Since then the lower kitchen units are showing signs of sinking as the worktop has come away from the tiles on the wall. We are at a loss how to solve this as the previous builder is not interested. Any advice welcome. Thanks

No guarantees but if its only down to minor settlement takt off the plinths and use a jack below end panels of units to gently lift the units and adjust the legs.
