Water leaking from cistern to toilet

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.17 PM

Hi My toilet is Villeroy-Boch make and the cistern is concealed into the cupboards. The problem is water is leaking from cistern into toilet all the time but there is no leaks to the floor. What could be the problem? Also I would like to fix a duel flush for liquids and solids to reduce my water bills. Pls give some suggestions.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi your float valve has failed and is constantly dripping or letting water run, its running into the pan through your internal overflow you can try adjusting it my advice would be to replace the faulty float valve.
