shower pump for loft

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.59 PM

Hi, I have a cold water direct feed and hot water from tank, I have a thermostatic drench shower with jets to be fitted, the pipe run from hot water tank to the shower in my bathroom is 7.2 meters. the cold water pressure fluctuates when tap is turned on in the kitchen sink downstairs. What kind of pump is suitable for my shower ?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The best solution in my opinion is to take a direct cold feed from your store water ie cistern[tank] in loft and a direct hot feed from your cylinder via a surrey flange which stops air being sucked into the pipework and install and connect hot and cold pipes to a stuart turner monsoon pump .One issue that you may have normally when cold water is supplied by mains pressure and hot water is supplied by stored water a 25gallon cistern may be fitted in the loft and you may need to remove this and replace with a 5o gallon cistern Best solution as said and you get 3bar pressure at your shower Dave ward gas engineer plumber
